An evening cruise can be your one paid sailing. The covered saloon option lasts an hour, with live English commentary and drinks or cheese only when selected. A pizza cruise combines one casual meal with a 90-minute sailing. The verified option includes one pizza and the stated beer, wine or soft drinks; confirm the final Damrak pier and boarding steps. Choose it instead of another cruise and dinner, not as a third booking.

If choosing Lookout, take the free Buiksloterweg ferry. NDSM and STRAAT use a different landing and require another route; do not treat the whole north bank as one small district. Check the return and leave enough time for your actual dinner reservation.

Which Canal Cruise Should Couples Book?

Choose one cruise from its actual vessel, duration, dock and inclusions. The one-hour covered saloon option has live commentary and an optional cheese-and-drinks package. Blue Boat’s 90-minute evening cruise or the 90-minute pizza cruise can be alternatives, not additional required sailings.

Choose the actual departure against sunset for your date. The last summer sailing is not necessarily the best light, and a winter sailing may still precede darkness. If privacy is the priority, compare a boat for two with a captain against the shared options. The verified private cruise offers 45 or 90 minutes, one glass of Prosecco each and snacks, with a retractable roof, heated seats and blankets. How Much Does A Romantic Two Days In Amsterdam Cost?

Two €25 museum tickets and a €16 GVB 48-hour ticket total €66 per full-fare adult, or €132 for two adults, before boats, meals, accommodation and airport travel. Buy only the visits you want. There is no verified universal €160–€230 total or three-attraction pass break-even.

Compare the exact City Card with the visits you would otherwise buy. Total Experience includes eligible GVB transport; Explorer does not. Van Gogh and Anne Frank House are excluded. Age-based free entry and other passes affect the calculation, so separate tickets do not always win for every couple.
